In Oxfordshire, government childcare funding for 3 and 4 year olds is provided by the Nursery Education Fund. Children qualify for this funding from the beginning of the first school term after they turn three.

The funding is limited to 570 hours per year. Polstead Preschool is able to offer funding every day of the school year as we are open for 38 weeks. This means that if a child attends Preschool Monday to Friday for three hours per day, a total of fifteen hours per week, they are entitled to claim for funding for every hour of the week. Please note however that Polstead Preschool does provide services not covered by funding so these will be billed to parents. You can read more on the fees page.
